1. Our Promise
We want you to love TraderCab. If it doesn't help you trade with more discipline within the first week, you shouldn't have to pay for it. This policy explains exactly how our refunds and cancellations work — written in plain English, no legalese.
2. Eligibility for Refund
2.1 PRO & VIP Monthly Plans
You are eligible for a 100% refund if:
- You request the refund within 7 calendar days of your first payment
- It is your first-ever subscription to that specific plan (not a renewal)
- You have not violated our Terms & Conditions
2.2 LIFETIME Plan
The LIFETIME plan is eligible for a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase. After 7 days, since the plan grants permanent access, no refund will be issued.
2.3 Renewals & Subsequent Months
Renewals (i.e., your second month onwards on PRO/VIP) are generally not refundable, since you have continued to use the service after your trial window. However, exceptional cases (technical failure, double-billing, fraud) are reviewed individually — see Section 4.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
❌ Refunds will NOT be issued for:
- Requests made after 7 days from the original purchase
- Accounts terminated by us for violation of Terms (fraud, abuse, account sharing, illegal activity)
- Dissatisfaction with trading results — TraderCab is a journaling tool, not a profit-generating system
- Changes in your personal financial situation after purchase
- Buyer's remorse after the 7-day window
- Failure to use the service (you bought it but didn't log in)
4. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests are simple. Email us with these details:

Your registered email · plan purchased (PRO/VIP/LIFETIME) · Razorpay payment ID · date of purchase · brief reason (optional but helps us improve)
We acknowledge within 24 hours
You'll receive a confirmation email within 1 business day. If your request meets the eligibility criteria, we proceed with the refund immediately.
Refund processed via Razorpay
Refunds are issued to your original payment method (the card / UPI / netbanking account you used). We do not refund to alternate accounts.
Money in your account: 5-10 business days
Once processed on our end, banks typically take 5-10 business days to credit the refund. Razorpay sends you an SMS / email confirmation.
5. Cancellation
5.1 How to cancel
Since TraderCab's monthly plans do not auto-renew, there's nothing to formally "cancel". Your access simply ends at the end of your billing period unless you choose to renew. There's no recurring charge to worry about.
5.2 What happens after cancellation
- You keep full access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- After expiry, your account remains active on the FREE tier — your trade data is preserved
- You can resubscribe anytime at the then-current pricing
5.3 Deleting your account
If you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data, email us at [email protected]. We will process the deletion within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain (payment records under Indian tax law).
6. Special Cases
6.1 Duplicate or accidental payment
Charged twice by mistake, or paid for the wrong plan? Email us immediately with your payment IDs and we'll refund the duplicate within 48 hours, regardless of the 7-day window.
6.2 Service unavailability
If TraderCab is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault (not your internet, browser, or third-party providers), you may request a pro-rated refund or a free 1-month extension.
6.3 Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, your account will be suspended immediately and you may lose eligibility for future refunds or service. Always email us first — we'll usually resolve the issue faster than your bank can.
7. Refund Currency & Taxes
All refunds are issued in Indian Rupees (INR), the same currency you were charged. If applicable taxes were collected, the full amount including taxes will be refunded. We do not refund any forex conversion fees charged by your card issuer if you paid from a foreign account.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to new purchases made after the update date — purchases made under the previous policy continue to be governed by it. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any revisions.
